LILYGO has officially released the T-Beam 1W, an enhanced IoT development board built on the ESP32-S3 platform. This new edition integrates four major hardware capabilities—LoRa long-range wireless communication, GNSS positioning, an onboard OLED display, and SD card storage—while maintaining the familiar layout of the T-Beam series. Equipped with a high-power LoRa front-end module, it is engineered specifically for long-distance data transmission and field deployment scenarios.
At the heart of the board is the ESP32-S3FN8, featuring a dual-core Tensilica LX7 processor paired with 16 MB of flash and 8 MB of PSRAM, offering generous memory for complex applications. Wireless connectivity includes 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE, ensuring broad compatibility across development environments. The board supports Arduino, PlatformIO, and other mainstream frameworks, delivering a consistent and developer-friendly experience in line with other LILYGO products.
Power management is handled by the AXP2101 PMU, which supports battery operation and provides stable regulated power to the ESP32-S3 and RF subsystems, ensuring reliable performance across diverse usage conditions.

Communication, Positioning & Display Features
LoRa Communication:
The board integrates the Semtech SX1262 transceiver, covering the 830–945 MHz band. It includes an SMA connector and a dedicated RF base, and ships with an 868 MHz antenna. This combination delivers robust long-range wireless performance suitable for telemetry, remote sensing, and distributed IoT networks.
GNSS Positioning:
A built-in L76K GNSS module provides multiple connectivity methods including UART, PPS, and wake-up lines. This module offers fast acquisition and reliable positioning accuracy, making the board ideal for asset tracking and outdoor navigation applications.
OLED Display:
A 1.3-inch SH1106 OLED display is mounted on the front panel, offering a resolution of 128×64 pixels. Connected via I²C, it allows quick visualization of telemetry data, system status, or user interfaces without external hardware.
T-Beam 1W Display & LoRa Module
The board features a full suite of expansion interfaces, including an SD card slot, a Qwiic connector for easy sensor integration, dedicated fan power pins, and additional GPIO routed through side headers to support custom extensions.
Functional buttons—including boot, reset, and power control—are grouped on the right side of the board for intuitive day-to-day operation.
